About the Client
Team Dachshund is a clothing and merchandise brand focused selling apparel to very passionate Dachshund owners. Prior to going live on the Bishop and Heart website the company came to us to design a brand that would suit the market they were intending to target.
The owners of Team Dachshund approached our branding guru Chris Holloway to design a brand identity that would mimic some the traits of this tiny but very loyal breed. The brief was for the brand to appeal to a very passionate crowd of dachshund owners and have a big and bold colour scheme.
The Journey began with the design of the brand which in the initial design stage was to focus on a “team concept” as it was quite common for owners of this very stubborn breed of dog to have more than one dog in the house. The famous colours of Ferrari was uses to compliment the smug “we will stop at nothing” facial expression that is so common among the breed.
Phase 2 – Clothing & Merchandise Design
Before the brand could be launched into the market place the brand needed to stand out on various types of merchandise that would be sold to this hungry crowd of dog lovers. Everything from limited edition t-shirts to hoodies to racing style cushions and dog bowls were to road test the new look and feel. The results were nothing short of spectacular and the company was very please with the results.
Phase 3 – Sales Funnel
As a final step the company needed a way to launch their new brand into the wild. With the market competition being fierce over the Christmas break Team Dachshund decided to combine to the power of a sale funnel with the targeting capabilities of Facebook advertising and created a giveaway funnel using the Clickfunnels platform. Team Dachshund successfully launched their new brand of clothing and merchandise and was able to get wide spread exposure thanks to the Giveaway Funnel and strategy used by the the Internet Initiatives team. Team Dachshund now uses the collected information to offer more products and services to their customers and also use the analytical data to create targeting audience in Facebook to reduce advertising costs.
